Updated question and X-ray results
Posted on 2008/03/14 by UserThis is an update to the previous question that I had asked. Our Vet called and had posted Bubbles' X-rays to a website for other vets to look at. They said the Rad's showed no abnormalities and one tiny area where there is arthritis near the tip of her tail. Other than that it all looked great. Since my last question she has started dragging her left hind leg a little bit which prompted the X-rays which were taken on 3/11/08. And when we woke up this morning to give her a morning pain pill we noticed that she is starting to drag her other hind leg as well. Just not as bad as the left side. She has now stopped taking the Deramaxx and is now taking Tramadol 50mg every 8...

Drinking Water
Posted on 2008/03/15 by TURNAUERHow much water should a 4 month old (33 lbs) Lab/shepherd/retriever mix typically drink. She seems to drink constantly all day long. If the bowl is empty she sits down next to it and puts her foot in it and pushes it around until someone refills it. This also means she pees constantly. She is taken out every 45 -60 minutes. If it normal, that's fine. I just wondered if their were guidlines... like humans 6-8 glasses a day.

Limping Leg
Posted on 2008/03/15 by Mrs. N.Our 8 year-old cocker spaniel began limping suddenly after being outside. Because we live in a rural area, there are no emergency vets. We have checked her foot/leg. There are no scratches, cuts, etc. and she does not seem to be in any pain when her foot/leg are touched. What could be wrong, and what can be done until she can be taken to the vet on Monday?

Posted on 2008/03/17 by UserSome times i run out of deramaxx and was wondering if Asprin was okay for her of if tylonal is okay for her? She really is hard to judge because she is not a dog to whine or yelp.

Her first episode with her back was in 2005. She is now having another however this time she has some pain. Her first bout it was easy to get her to lay down. This time she seems to prefer to sit. Is this okay?
