i have been taking my dog to vets and he is getting worse symtoms diarrhea,accute weight loss lethargic and now not eating but drinking lots of water.He seems to feel that he needs to go to the toilet runs round in pain back arched barking at his rear end,been taking metronidizole,prednisolone no improvement waiting on blood tests.

Killian my 8 month old German Shepherd got hit in the right eye with a baseball that was (traveling about 70mph) 4 days ago, the eye has a slight cloudy gray look around the outside of the eye but not the pupil its self. what dose this mean?? There is a small laceration about 1/4inch below the eye that looks to healing normally. His behavior and diet is about as normal as can be expected, he dose seem to be more lethargic then before but I assumed because of the stress and pain it's self.

Hip Dysplasia Question for Dog
Posted on 2009/03/22 by UserMy 12 year old black lab has had hip dysplasia for a while now. I have him on a gluosomine diet and he gets an asprin every day. It has helped but in the past two days, he can not get up AT ALL! I don't know what to do. Is there something else he can take besides asprin. Is there something stronger from my Vet that can be prescribed to him - a steroid shot or something. He is health otherwise.

Dog - help!!!
Posted on 2009/03/22 by UserOur dog ate a soft treat but didn't chew it so he was choking. I put my finger down his throat to push it thru and it did go down so he can breathe but now he is throwing up white foam. Is this ok or does he need to see a vet?
