Kitten getting chunkie only in stomach.
Posted on 2008/09/12 by UserHello.... I just purchased a kitten on august 8 and have noticed her belly getting really big the last few weeks. She is only about 16 weeks old. She is not active like kittens usually are. She sleeps all day and doesn't really play. She is only fat in the belly and is too young for pregnancy and I have never let her out of the house. What could be wrong?

cut paw pad
Posted on 2008/09/13 by Anitamy 1 1/2 year old black tabby has injured his front right paw. the pad of one of his "toes" is ripped not bleeding but very sore when touched and he is limping and lathargic. I have cleaned it an covered it with a sock with tape and he is leaving it alone. Is there anything else I can do or look for before getting him to the vet on Monday?

need diagnosis
Posted on 2008/09/13 by UserYes. She her thyroid has been tested and was normal as well as kidney fubction. The only abnormalities in the basic workup were a low white and red count. She has also been seen vomiting a thick dark substance that resembles stool. Her vet thinks in could be blood from the lower GI tract.

Cat With UTI
Posted on 2008/09/15 by UserI received an answer to my last question and I know you people can do better. I have a 4 year old female cat who has been fighting a uti for over 2 months. She was doxycycline and it did not work. She never liked wet food since day one. She is now eating Purina UR ST/OX dry food. I also had her on Merrick no grain food. I have pressed on her bladder, kidneys and stomach and no pain. She uses the litter box and strains but sometimes very little comes out, sometimes nothing and sometimes she will have a fairly good urination. I have tried some of the herbal remedies and they work for a short time and stop. She is not crying and has never lost her appetite. Her eyes are...
