my 8yr. female boston terrier who is in heat got sick last week having fresh blood out her rectum with no feces and a little vomiting i took her to the vet they said she had an inflammed intestine sent me home with amoxicillin and ant inflamatory meds now 1 week later she doesnt seem to have bms for 56hrs. any home remedies or baby laxitive i can give?

Well you answred my question i know this isint a question but we did use flea powder and shampoo,we get him groomed but the lumps never go away theyre even starting to show up on his legs now!! thanks again for the answer you gave me earlier!

Hi AGAIN sorry for all the questions but i just want to make sure my dog is OK. Well my dog has been coughing lately and it kind of looks like he's choking and nothing comes up..it happens when we're walking him aswell..we got him a harness so that the collar wouldnt choke him but i dont think its got anything to do with that!! Please help!!

my 5month old puppy has sores on the top, inside of her ear flaps (see picture), causing her ears to longer stand up. not sure what they are from but they started about a week ago and seem to be growing. The sores are on both ears. I do not have money at the moment to take her to a vet. What should i do? what could they be from?

Posted on 2008/10/12 by M.well my 5 years old tom cat had a month ago an abdominal distension I gave him some medication for laxation and an enema he was lethargic and off food ,three days later he started to relief and his distended belly also became normal but since this he started eating but a very little ,always sleeping,abnormal weak gate he has a great pain when we hold him specially from his chest i suspect that his problem may be diaphragmatic hernia or it could be a gastric problem his blood tests are normal ,resp. rate and temp may any body helps me

Posted on 2008/10/14 by JudiMy 16 week old german shepard puppy has been healthy and normal for the last 5 weeks weve had her. she has her parvo vaccines. early this morning 6 am she vomited 2x in the house this afternoon she became lethargic and has diarrhea. her nose is warm and dry. i checked her whole body and she doesnt seem to be sore anywhere but she wont eat and seems like she is skinnier already. please help we dont want to loose our Abby!

Toxicity has been ruled out! She has been taking Clavamox 125mg, 1/4 tablet twice a day for the last week, as the vet suspects she may have an infection in her Liver. She was on Denosyl, but the vet took her off of it, quite a while ago, because he said it wasn't really helping her much and is on no other medications except the Clavamox.
