Droopy eyes
Posted on 2008/10/10 by UserOur 12 year old yellow lab eyes have startedf to droop down where you can see the red flesh under his eyes. My wife thought maybe this was from allergies and gave him benidryle. WHat could be causing his eyes to droop so bad?

Emergency Rabbit Care
Posted on 2008/10/11 by NoelleMy rabbit is grinding her teeth very loudly. I've noticed that she has ate some plastic from her litter box. There are no emergency rabbit vets in Mt. Pleasant, MI. I checked her mouth, but was unable to see if there is anything stuck in her mouth. She is more docile than normal when holding her. She has urinated in her litter since yesterday and there are pellets. I am not sure on if she has drank any water from her bottle. There was some soft black pellets stuck to the bottom of her cage. Her ears are raised. Please advise if there is anything I can do. She will not accept a treat from me.

exposed penis
Posted on 2008/10/11 by RonaldMy 10 yr. old, Male Miniature Schnauzer/Yorkie Mix has recently (2 weeks) started having problems retracting his penis. His penis is always exposed and never retracts into the sheath. His nipples close to his sheath on both sides have become black and swollen and he continually stratches them with both hind feet. The last two days, he is becoming increasingly lethargic. He seems to eat well and drink his usual amount of water. He doesn't seem to be having any trouble urinating or with bowel movements. The last two days, he has become disintrested in going outside, which is strange for him. He just sits and seems to stare with his head lowered. He has never been mated and...

she ate dark chocolate
Posted on 2008/10/11 by TrishLate last night my 8 year old Bichon Frise (14 pounds) ate around 1oz. of Hershey's dark chocolate. She's a bit hyperactive, but her outside habits are normal. It's been almost 12 hours since she ate it -- is she out of the "danger zone"?

Puppy illness
Posted on 2008/10/11 by UserWe adopted a 6 week old boxer mix puppy two days ago. The day we adopted him he received a deworming as well as his first injection. He was doing okay yesterday, however today he has had terrible diarrhea and is now throwing up. Is this normal? What should we do? Thanks for your help

luckys spots
Posted on 2008/10/11 by luckyMy dog has these little red bumps on his body. I'm not sure if there insect bites I don't know what they are. He hasn't been acting at all different and there no itching him cause i haven't seen him scratching at all. Yesterday he went to the groomer and got a haircut and once he got home I noticed when he was rolling around on his back that he had a little red spot on his inner thigh. Upon further observation i noticed he had three in total one on each tigh and one on his testes. The one on his testes looks sot of darker red wth two white dots on top. I put neosporin on it last night and then today when I took him to the park i noticed he had more one on each little...
