We got two 10 week old kittens from a local cat shelter (cats only) last Tuesday (9/2). Two nights ago, they started sneezing a few times an hour or so. I have not noticed any discharge from their noses, but from their breathing it does sound like they have a stuffy nose. We keep them indoors all of the time and they are otherwise happy, playing, eating, sleeping, purring, etc. I am on the lookout for any abnormal behavior (lethargy, lack of appetite) but have not noticed any yet. I read through a couple other similar situations, could this be Cat Flu or allergies? If so, how long should I wait before consulting a vet? Could this go away on its own? Could it be...

Don't know what to do next
Posted on 2008/09/12 by UserMy 7 year old boxer is puffing her cheeks out instead of panting. She has whitish foam on the sides of her mouth. She seems to be breathing like she's been running but she is just sitting in the den. I brought her to the vet @ 2 months ago with the puffing. She had blood work and everything came back fine. My vet was puzzled and wanted to do an mri. I have no insurance. Is there anything you might think it could be? Do you think I should have the mri done?

Skin Rash with Black Bumps/Scabs
Posted on 2008/09/14 by ChristinaMy 1.5 year old golden retriever, Max, has a rash on his underside belly that extends down to his hind legs. There are red/pink areas that look like he's been itching. On his hind quarters there are some areas of black bumps that have the feeling of scabs. I put him on Sargeant's SENRYPRO XFC (which had scary reviews of pet seizures...and I promptly washed it off of him with dishwashing soap) and put the regular K-9 Advantix I usually bought on him about 5 days later. He has never had a skin problem and has always been in good health. I don't know what to do and need some guidance. I've attached a picture (hopefully it helps) and have more that I could send. Please...

Finny has been limping for almost two weeks. I had hoped it was a sprain as he is a smaller dog and jumps off of chairs/beds etc. When you feel his leg(left, front)there is swelling on the upper ,inside part of the leg,but doesn't seem to cause him any pain. What do you think it could be ?

Gum Bacteria
Posted on 2008/09/14 by UserBrewster (4 pound poodle) has been on Clavamox for a gum infection/bacteria for months. He takes the antibiotic for 10 days and smell and yellow goo clears up. Then 8-10 days the smell and yellow goo come back. Dental Cleaning and Blood work (kidney & Liver)are all good. Is there any natural/herbal or over the counter treatment I can give him to clear it up or give to make it longer in between giving the Clavamox? Please advise.
