What should I do?
Posted on 2008/09/11 by User -
My cat has been sick for the past 2 1/2 weeks and she keeps getting worse. She has lost a bunch of weight, she is very weak, and she won't eat. I took her to the vet about 1 week ago and he didn't really know what was wrong with her. He said that her intestines were hard and he gave me some worm medicine just in case that's what is wrong with her. I gave her all the medicine and she has only gotten worse. I have been force feeding her milk so she can get some nourishment but she still won't eat and keeps getting worse. Do you have any idea what might be wrong with her?

Posted on 2008/09/11 by papillonMY SIX YEAR OLD CHIUAHUA HAS DEVELOPED A JOWEL OVERNITE, SHE HAS RECENTLY BEEN TO THE DOCTOR BECAUSE SHE WAS COUGHING ALOT MY VET HAD SAID THAT SHE MAY HAVE DAMAGE TO HER THROAT DUE TO PULLING ON THE LEASH. WE HAVE ALWAYS USED A HARNESS BUT HAVE ONLY HAD HER FOR 3 YEARS. BEFORE THAT WE BROUGHT HER FOR HER PERSISTANT SCRATCHING WHICH THE VET SAID MIGHT BE AN ALLERGY. HE PERSCRIBED AN ANITI ALLERGETIC. bronchitis
Posted on 2008/09/12 by UserCoco is a rescue I have adopted. Before I got her, she was diagnosed with Bronchitis, and was given Zeniquin. The antibiotics were done as of September 2, but she still has a bad coughing fit about 3 to 4 times a day that can go on for 10 minutes or so. I can't take her to the same vet, as she was transported across province to me, so am looking for advice. Have tried an expectorant cough syrop to clear out the congestion, am wondering if I should switch to cough suppressant, or whether she needs more antibiotics. She is eating well, and drinking, but when she exerts herself, she brings on coughing fit, but does play a bit each day. Seems to have no breathing...

What can i do?
Posted on 2008/09/12 by DianeHi my name is Diane Fernandes. My first question is about my 5 year old cat named Storm. I'm not sure exactly what type of cat she is but she has long white hair. She looks like those white kittens that you see on the towlet paper commercials. I've had Storm ever since she was a kitten. i wirked in a vet hospital before and someone had brought her in as a stray. Apparently they found her on the hwy. i took her home and I think i'm doin a good job in taking care of her. I also have 2 other cats. Storm is very resevered. she doesn't come out of our crawl pace to play. Every time me or someone else in the family goes to pet her she runs the other way. we call her the wild...

Female Cat With UTI
Posted on 2008/09/14 by UserI have a 4 year old female cat who has been fighting a uti for over 2 months. She was doxycycline and it did not work. She never liked wet food since day one. She is now eating Purina UR ST/OX dry food. I also had her on Merrick no grain food. I have pressed on her bladder, kidneys and stomach and no pain. She uses the litter box and strains but sometimes very little comes out, sometimes nothing and sometimes she will have a fairly good urination. I have tried some of the herbal remedies and they work for a short time and stop. She is not crying and has never lost her appetite. Her eyes are bright and she is in pretty good spirits. Any suggestions of what else I...
