I have a 2 yr old Fox Red Lab that seems to have allergy problems. He frequently sneezes, rubs his nose on the carpet, and sometimes has alot of discharge on his eyes. Would it be ok to give him Clariton or another generic form of Clariton?

Gaping wound on leg
Posted on 2008/02/22 by StoddardWe noticed that Jasmine's hind leg was badly swollen and couldn't see an abvious reason why. The next day it was oozing what looked to be bloody pus around the knee area. We started her on antibiotics and used neosporin on the wound. The swelling is completely gone but there is a gaping wound on her let. Will this evenutally heal or do I need to get it stitched?

My cat has a rash/bite under his chin. I have been applying warm compressing and neosporin is this OK?

My cat hasn't eaten for 1 1/2 days and isn't active at all. He has vomited 3 times aince then. He is very lethargic and won't even jump up on my lap. Just 30 minutes ago I heard him howl downstairs...and found him laying down. I inspected him and felt around and he doesn't appear to have any physical injuries. What could be wrong? Should I take him to a vet ASAP?

Incontinence
Posted on 2008/02/24 by MelissaHi-- My brother has a wonderful 8 month weimereiner named Otto who I look after. Otto has been potty trained from age 2 months with the bell on the door method. He rings a wind chime on the door when he needs to go out. He still goes outside as usual, but he lately literally seems to be leaking. He is streaming small amounts of urine when he walks or runs around the house. He does not make any "puddles". Just long streams that leave a trail of where he has been. We're not sure how to remedy this. He was crate trained right away. Before I got to my brothers hometown, he would often be in his crate for 8 hours a day while my brother and sister in...

Frequent urination
Posted on 2008/12/09 by UserMy dog is 3 1/2 months old and is frequently urinating wherever she may be standing. We noticed it when she first came to our home and thought it might just be nerves from being placed into a new home. However, it started up again about two or three weeks ago. There isn't any blood in the urine and she doesn't seem to be in pain. When she goes she hold the position for what seems to be 3-4 minutes at a time and also will just pee while standing or while walking and not "assume the position." She probably goes 10-15 times a day. Is this natural to go so often or is there something more going on that we don't know?
