loss of hair
Posted on 2009/01/22 by UserMy tabby cat is approximately 7yrs old. She has been a barn cat all of her life. She hasn't had any of her shots except her first set of her shots before we picked her up from the humane society when she was 6 months old. She is showing signs of loss of hair only on the her back where her tail and her back begins. She still has a good appatite and is still very vigorous and energetic. Please let me know if she has mange or sarcoptic mange because I have children that hold her and snuggle with her and I don't want them to get the parasite from her.

my dog has sudden spells where he shakes constantly and he does'nt appear to be able to move his back legs. it looks like he's having a spasm of some kind and he constantly licks his lips and swallows like he has a dry mouth but he won't drink. then for several hours afterwards he justs lays there and sleeps like he has no energy where he normally runs about and jumps around. do i need to take him to a vet to get checked out?
