  • Watery eye

I recently took Blackjack to the vets for his dental. A couple of days later he began to sneez and his right eye began to water. I took him back to the vet and he said he had a temp and gave him a antibiotic shot and sent me home with eye drops. After a week the sneezing stopped, but his eye is still watering. Good there be something else wrong with him??

  • Trembling

My 6 yr old dog trembles in her rear legs and back. It doesnt seem to cause her any discomfort - more irrating to her. - and doesnt prevent her from any activity. Vet not concerned keeps trying to prescribe steroids which I dont want to put her on. I think it feels like some sort of trapped nerve in her back - any advice?

  • My cat is diabetic and has been doing fine for about a year. She gets 8 units of insulin a day. We recently switched her over to just canned food, because she was throwing up a few times a week, and it looked like it was mostly dry. (She used to eat only 1/3 of a can of wet food at a time, and had a dry food self feeder) Now she's been eating about 4 cans of wet food a day, and seemed to be feeling MUCH better. She was playing with us again, and bathing, which are things that she hasn't really been doing much of in years. In fact, last night, she was just fine and happy playing with me. However, later last night, she was listless, and seeming uncomfortable. Then this...

  • Cat

I'm sure you get this question all the time, and I've tried to look it up, but haven't found an answer, so here goes....I have an 8 year old orange tabby who meows all night every night. It's getting to the point where I can't function the same at work and am tired all day because I can't sleep at night. He's been with me for years so he's used to his surrounds. There's nothing new around him, not even anything little. He has food and water, and fresh litter. He just meows and meow. I know it's because he wants me up and playing with him. I play with him when I get home from work, and before I got to bed. I leave the blinds open so he can look out the window. I give him...

  • pet itch

my golden retriever , 2yrs old, is scratching his left ear constantly and seems to be annoyed doing so, he rolls in the snow to scratch it, and i see some ear wax in there and hear what sounds like a hollow water type sound when i rub the hard back of his ear. Otherwise he seems fine. But the itch seems to be getting the better of him. Please advise. - joanne
