My cat will be 21 years old this month. She has recently started having seizures a few times a week. She has developed a twitching in her legs and can't stay still long enough to sleep or eat. I have to hold her on my lap to feed her. She walks around the house aimlessly all day long. I hold her a few times a day to give her a rest and she will only sleep for a few hours when she's absolutely exhausted. Can I give her anything to stop the leg twitching?

6 year old persian cat
Posted on 2009/01/06 by SharonI had a persian die of what appeared to be a saddle thrombus--first to the leg (this may have been misdiagnosed as an injury) and then four days later to the rear leg(s) which appeared to cause his death. A month prior to this problem he had a bloody nose. He had also been treated with prednisone for IBD. Could any of these things be related. after all of the specialist visits and ultrasounds, the cost of necropsy was prohibitive.

spazzing out
Posted on 2009/01/04 by Usermy cat milo is almost 4 he started to spazz out about 1 1/2 years ago like his back end twitches and he stops licks then runs all over and does it again he will do it for about 10 minutes then he wont do it again for a week or two. he stopped for like 6 months and now he is doing it again is this like static in his fur?

3 Feral cats. Mother and two kittens
Posted on 2009/01/05 by UserWe made a nice cathouse out of foam and filled it with straw and a few small blankets. The cats were using it for awhile and then stopped going into it. Do you know why? Yesterday I cleaned it out and changed the straw and washed the blankets. I don't think they went into it tonight. Any suggestions. polishkelly@verizon.net

im worried about my dog she is 5 years old and is getting very fussy with her food and wont go out for a walk as she is scared of everything but nothing has happened for this behaviour to occure she is healthy and happy i worry why she wont go for a walk
