My dog not feeding
Posted on 2009/02/02 by UserMy house was flooded recently and my dog (small breed) hasn't been feeding for the last few days. The eyes are constantly covered with white membrane.I tried feeding it but to no avail. It keeps on vomiting now and then these few days. The eyes are now better, I gently wiped them with damp cloth. He doesn't bark now, only sit up and look if not just lay down. What's wrong with it? Beside bringing to vet, what can I do?

Posted on 2009/02/02 by Userour german sheperd dog will be 14 years old this august, and has become lifeless and finds its difficult to walk, sometimes dragging its back legs,he has been deaf for the last year and when he is resting which is all the time,he sounds like he is in pain with the noises he makes, when he cleans himself he often yelps as though he has hurt himself. Is the time come for us to put him to sleep,I dont want to but will it be best ?

Vomting and labored breathing
Posted on 2009/02/05 by UserIn my dog's earlier years she would often burp. Now she is six years of age and now instead of just a burp she will throw up a little in her mouth and swallow it or will projectile vomit a clear mucusy substance. It this cause for concern? Also her breathing will sparatucally become labored.

Sick kitten
Posted on 2009/02/05 by UserI have a kitten that's about 10 weeks old. Doesn't seem like she's been eating much the past few days. Came home from school last night to find cloudy throw up. Since then I noticed watery cloudy stools as well. Also a dry nose, though her brother doesn't have any of these sympotoms. I've looked around for some insite. I have recently changed the brand of food she ate, gums are normal in coloration, nor does she have and bulging in her stomach like some worm cases do. But shes obviously tired and in discomfort from being sick. She does seem to be holding down her liquids at the moment though. (got sick after drinking water earlier.) So I'm, starting to wonder if...

my dogs testicular problems
Posted on 2009/02/05 by Usersomething is wrong with my dog's testicals. I have a 4year old yorkie and he has never desired to do any type of sexual behavior until 3 days ago when he attempted to mount my neighbors yorkie. The next morning he was very aggressive towards my neighbors dogs while out on our walk but the day after that he went back to normal. Tonight I noticed that his testicals were black (they initially were whitish pink with a brown mole the size of one of his testicals covering 1side). After more investigation, i realized that it was like a big scab with parts peeling off and the whole sac was a hard mass and just a little swollen. I am going to take him to the vet tomorrow...
