I have a goldfish which is a couple of years old. Found it lying in bottom of tank last night and thought it was dead. Its body seemed hard but then I noticed it was still breathing. Put it in another bowl and then eventually it started to swim. Got up this morning to find it lying on its side again quite stiff but still breathing what can i do.

My Puppy's Aggression
Posted on 2009/02/02 by UserMy puppy is 4 months old and he is only about 5 pounds. When he gets in trouble he shows his teeth, growls, and snaps at me. He does it all while laying on his back in the submissive position. Why does he do this and how can it be prevented or fixed.

female cat bladder infection
Posted on 2009/02/13 by UserMy cat went to the vet yesterday. She has a bladder infection and was given antibiotics and steriod. Today she is having spasms due to pain I'm sure, and blood coming from that area. She also is laying in her litter box for hours at a time. Should I give her meds time to work or should I continue to be really concerned for her life and return to the vet immediately?

Distended Abdomen. I'm worried?!
Posted on 2009/02/16 by UserI am very worried because we recently noticed that my 7 y/o dog has a distended stomach especially after eating. He is an active male of healthy weight and does not seem to have any other problems. We recently noticed that his stomach is swollen especially after he eats. He is still active and has no loss of appetite. He went to the vet Friday where they took x-rays and did blood work. Clear fluid came out when they took it from his abdomen indicating there was no blood at the time. X-rays showed it didn't seem like it was the kidneys and also that there may be something there but it was obscured by the fluid. Just today, I noticed he whines when he lays down and I think...

I have 2 yr old cat which was very well and very happy but unfortunately I have found my cat dead lying on its side; it was slightly under my neighbours’ car on his drive way which had not moved at all today. It was absolutely stiff and its eyes were wide open, it did not show any signs of harm to it and had tiny traces of fur in its mouth. It was generally a very healthy cat but it may have had a cold lately as it had the odd sneeze on occasions. I wonder if you can tell me what had led to its death. It had been missing from the house overnight
