my black lab has a bump on the inside by her stomach close to her ribs. I cant tell if its inside her stomach or not, its not had its kinda soft nd she doesnt move when i touch it. What does this meen?

Posted on 2009/01/03 by UserHi. I have an 8 year old german shepherd who for the past 2 weeks hasnt been urinating properly. He constantly goes out to "dribble" and is now dribbling indoors and through the night without asking to go out. His bedding is soaked every morning. He doesnt drink excessively and has not gone off his food. He was neutered at 1year old. He has been given batril and had 3 inflammatory jabs which have had no effect. He has been put on special food called Royal Canin Urinary S/O for a month. If this doesnt work what other options do I have ? I am at my wits end do you think it may be prostate problems or stones? Its as though he is incontinent and doesnt realising...

my dog is sick all of a sudden. has been fine all day besides not eating the food fast and he puked once today but still acted fine then he all of a sudden looked like he was in a coma he been sleepin and when he wakes up his eyes and body kinda twitches and he is making noises like he is growling. when awake his eyes look really slanted like he cant wake up. he is a chiuauaha 5 months

Posted on 2009/01/04 by UserWe have a female shepard 28 months old. She came in the other night with pain and swelling in her right rear foot. She was walking on it but tenderly, and there was minor swelling. We haven't given her anything for it, but were wondering if any medication we have here was safe for her. vomiting and diarrhea
Posted on 2009/01/04 by UserI have a 6yr old female Bernese Mountain dog that has been vomiting and diehrea for since Dec. 20 off and on. No appetite. Went to vet on Dec.24 and adviced us to feed hamburger rice and gastoral intestinal canned food along with pills for dihrrea. symptons persisted and went to our local vet on Dec27. Ran blood tests at the time and everything came back negetive on blood tests. Appetite started coming back and vomiting stopped for the last week until today. She stated vomiting again with spots of blood in it and diehrea with alot of blood and mucus in it. Lathargec again with no appetite. Can you advice what to do

Mucus in doggie diarrhea
Posted on 2009/01/04 by UserMy dog had loose stools that contained some mucus. I had given her one dose of diarrhea medicine from PetSmart and she had a normal bowel movement the next day. I did not give her a 2nd dose but now, two days later, her loose stools are back, along with the mucus. She is not going a lot, only once or twice a day like usual (as was the case before). She is eating, drinking and running around like normal. She has been in heat for a few days, and I noticed a bit of a runny nose (fluid was clear and not a lot of it) as well, so I'm wondering if her heat cycle or a cold is to blame. Any ideas or advice?

Cat Problems
Posted on 2009/01/04 by UserI was here a few hours ago, & asked a question why my cat might be urinating on plastic bags or fabrics, when he is still using the litter pan. I did not receive an answer, so I was wondering if I was supposed to stay on the site until I did. In the meantime, I changed the litter to another brand. Could that have been the problem? It was scented, & I, having sinus allergies was having problems with it myself.
