sickness 1
Posted on 2009/01/05 by Userthanks you for your help....it sounds logical...he doesn't want to eat or drink nor does he want to swallow when this happens...no he's not vaccinated yet...we do plan to take him in...when he first got sick it was new years day and no vets were on call for small animals...then he got better...now he's doing it again..would that make him act like he's deaf, bling, and also has touble walking?

I just adopted a 3 yr old jack russel terrier from the Human Society. Since getting him home he has been coughing/sneezing, and seemingly coughing up stuff, though nothing is coming out. I aquired my other dog the same way and he did have a bit of a cold the first day or so, but it got better very quickly. This dog actually seems to be getting worse. How worried should I be. He has a vet apointment tomorrow, but is there anything I can do to help now?

I wrote you a day or two ago about my 7 Month old Cat who is possibly dying at my local Veterinarians office. I spoke with my Veterinarian Dr. Samari a little while ago and he told me my Cat (Jackson Montgomery) has taken a turn for the better. He has had him on an iv for awhile now and he has been maintaining the fluids and staying hydrated without vomiting. Jack still wasn't eating so he added some valium to his iv and shortly after, he told me Jack stuck his face in the food dish and started eating and so far has held it down. He also got a little playful after eating and...
