limp on right leg
Posted on 2009/03/17 by UserI have a small maltepoo who is 10 yrs old, he recently started limping on his right paw, but there is no visable sign of injury. It appears like it may be swollen a little at the joint area. Do you know what this might be? Thanks

My Pitbull is itching a lot lately
Posted on 2009/03/23 by UserMy Pitbull seems to be itching a lot lately. Head, ears, legs, sides, abdominal, genital. Sometimes he stops and frantically nips at his skin. He chewed an open sore spot at the joint on his back leg. That went away with a pet's antibiotic ointment. On concerned advice from a friend, I changed his food recently, Beneful to Iam's Lamb and Rice for the dry and from Alpo to Pedigree in the canned. Could he have an allergy to the new food? Another concern: His teeth sound like they drag against each other when he closes his mouth. A different friend said that this was common to Pitbulls. Is that true and/or should I have this looked at?
