The dog food that I was feeding my dog, turned moldy. Before I noticed it, he ate some and was throwing up. Is there any long term effects from him eating the moldy food?

Screaming in pain
Posted on 2008/03/09 by UserThere is something wrong with my dog. Since Friday night he has been screaming in pain every 5 min and looking at his butt area. I thought maybe he was compacted so i gave him laxatives and that seemed to help a little bit but he has gone potty a bunch now and he is STILL screaming. I dont know what to do!!

dog has skin like leather please help
Posted on 2008/03/23 by UserI bought a 2 year old male yorkie and his hair was so matted he actually had what looked like scabes on his skin. I took him to my groomer and she said he had lice but she didn''t see any. She said the scab looking things where the eggs that were so caked on. She sugested we cut him really short and for me to treat him. Well When we shaved him his skin was like leather. It feels just like leather. It is so dry that if you pinch his skin together it will actually crack and bleed. I have had dogs all my life and never seen anything like this before. He isn''t sick or anything. Runt Kitten Constipated?
Posted on 2008/03/26 by BrendaCalli, had 4 beautiful kittens a little over a month ago. 3 are very healthy babies but the runt is very small and not gaining weight. I have been hand feeding him and having Calli nurse him seperately. His tummy is swollen and he has pooped in a few days. The night before last he did poop a little hard ball but nothing since, I have been trying to give him alot of water since, I think he is constipated and dont know what to give him.

Head tilting in a deaf cat
Posted on 2007/12/07 by UserMy cat is deaf - and has always been so as far as I know. She often tilts her head to the side or right back... also her balance is not that great. She is a rescued cat - and spend most of her time in a cage before I got her. Just curious as to why she tilts her head - and whether there are likely to be any problems causing her to do this? Also, whether her lack of balance and occasional clumsiness are likely to be from deafness or being confined for the first year or so of her life (she was kept in a cage full-time before being rescued by the SPCA
