  • Eating Poop

We have had Yoshi about a month now.. and are in the process of trying to train him to go on a puppy pad since it's been very cold for us and is not an option to take him outside. I noticed the other day for the first time that he started eating his own poop and I have no idea why or if I should even be concerned. My first instinct was that this was NOT normal. What should I do and why would he do this?

  • sick

My cat has some sort of a blood/pus filled boil between her anus and urethra. What is it?

  • Red spot

My dog seems to have a red spot on the white area of his left eye, what is it?

  • Furless Toes

The area between the toes on the rear foot of my cat is fur-less, red and irritated. What is wrong?? He doesn't appear to be walking funny. I noticed it because when he is standing you can see the red between the toes and I thought it was blood. His front claws were removed years ago but he still has his rears.

  • Was hit by a vehicle

My kitten was hit by a vehicle on wednesday night,we took him to the RSPCA on thursday morning,we realised when we lifted him he cried in paid and he was limping and he was unable to lift his tail,he also tried to pee and seemed unable to. He's been at the rspca for a few days and they've told me that he'll need to have his tail amputated,I don't mind that, but now they're saying thathe's been unable to pee by himself so they had to sedate him every morning and well I guess inject his bladder and relive him.The vet has told me that they will keep monitering him until monday to see if he can will be able to wee-wee by himself.Otherwise they will recommend that he be put...

  • bichon with blood in her urine

I have a Bichon that is about 18 weeks old. Ever since we had her she has had blood in her urine. She has been to the vet several times for this problem and has been medicated. The last time the vet had her urine cultured and said that she had a nasty infection and he put her on medication for 15 days. She seemed to be getting better, came off the medication on Tuesday this week and today her urine had blood in it. I have taken her back to the vet today and he now said that we should spade (not sure of spelling) her and then he could look at her bladder at the same time. We would like to breed her at least once but her health is more important. I would just like a second...

  • hair clumping and dandruff

Off and on for the past 6-8 months, she has been having issues with her hair knotting and clumping. Roxie has medium length coat and though we brush her (when we can catch her!), she knots very easily and has terrible dandruff especially on her back and sides of thighs. Is there any home remedy or human medication that I can use to help treat her problems? The last time this happened I wound up shaving the knotted hair off and using small amounts of vaseline to ease the dandruff.
