Hello, My cat Nanuuk has been chewing chunks off hair out almost everyday for over a month. He's ripping it out from the base of his tail, along both sides from his armpit to his belly and a little bit on his chest. It looks crazy and it seems like he can't help himself. Is this a sign of something serious? Outwardly, he seems to be doing well other than gum disease.... Thank you so much for your help!! Jamie

Chronic dry eye
Posted on 2007/12/12 by DavidBingo doesn't seem to be getting any lasting improvement with his "dry" eye. He's had this for about 1 year following an eye infection. The ointment coats his eye and crusty material appears the next morning. He's also being given antibiotic eye drops following the ointment (30 minutes.)

He climbs on my lap or bed or blanket and starts to move as if he was having intercourse it seems to work for him... i dont wish to mean to him but it causes a really bad smell. he has been doing this all along since he was a kitten but now he seems to be doing it more often. He does not display any other signs like spraying or chasing female cats although there are female cats around. I would really hate to have operated on again. He is a really nice cat besides this problem.

I just noticed that my dog has a lump on the side of his face. He is lethargic and is in pain. The lump is near his jaw. What should I do?

Drooping Right Side of Face

Lately he has been holding his head to the side, his mouth is drooping to that same side and his eye on that side looks strange. all of this is happening on his right side. His eye is drooping slightly and is a little blood shot. It looks to me as if he has had a stroke. He is moving around alright and is eating normally. No difference in his bowels or his routine. Could he have had a stroke without me knowing about it??

HE WILL RUN A SHORT DISTANCE AND SIT DOWN AND SCRATCH.I THINK ITS SOMETING INTERNAL THAT IS HURTING HIM. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

bad breath
