My cat is sick
Posted on 2008/02/14 by UserMy cat is breathing but not moving...she will not stand up and she has thrown up a couple times. Is there anything I can do to help...I have no car or money right now to take her to the Vet.

bloody watery diarhea
Posted on 2008/02/17 by reneeHow serious is this? He is acting fine energetic eating not in pain. The diarhea is getting more watery. Started out alot more with substance. Some blood in his stool. Help it is saturday and no vet is open should I wait or try to find an emergency vet hospital?

Testicles not dropped

Aural Hematoma
Posted on 2008/02/18 by TomIt appears Nash has an hematoma on his ear. I am familiar with this as he had one a year ago on his other ear. Ear flap swells up. This one though started slow and didn't appear fluid filled anitially (more solid)and the vet thought it could be from an allergic reaction to something such as a bug bite and suggested benadryl for a while. I was told that if it continued to swell and appeared fluid filled that it would most likely be a hematoma. The previous hematoma on the other ear was drained once or twice, and each time it re-filled. I elected after discussing with vet to just let it subside on it's own with the knowledge there would be some deformity of the ear...

Posted on 2008/02/18 by Userhi, my name is terri, i would like your opionon. my 7 yo choc lab mocha started with an eye problem in her left eye only. her third eyelid kept covering her eye and some drainage. i kept using an eyewash and found a hair in her eye. after removing the hair and washing her eye the rest of that day the drainage stopped. by the next morning she had a very thick white mucous coming from the left side of her nose. this was a sunday. i started the humidifier for her and gave her some ASA incase she was in pain. the next morning she started to cough. (thru her nose. it was not a sneeze but sounding like she was coughing). i took her to my vet on tuesday and was told she thought...

Lab not eating
Posted on 2008/02/20 by UserI have a 9 month old Chocolate Lab Mix, She has recently lost her appetiate. we normally feed her twice a day once around 7AM and again around 2PM. She just doesn't seem interested all in her food. All other behavior is the same. tryied a different brand of food, that didn't help. thanks, Jamie
