TANOA HAS BEEN ACTING STRANGELY ALL DAY TODAY. IT ALL STARTED AFTER MY HUSBAND GAVE HIM A BATH AND APPLIED HIS MONTHLY ADVANTIX. MIND YOU WE HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR THE PAST YEAR AND NEVER HAS BEHAVED LIKE HE HAS BEEN TODAY. HE HAS BEEN RAMMING HIS SIDES TOWARDS HIS BACKEND ON EVERTHING AS IF HE IS DESPERATELY TRYING TO RUB SOMETHING OFF. HE WILL DO THIS NON STOP ON EVERY SURFACE UNTIL I GO AND STOP HIM OR HE FALLS ASLEEP. I'VE INSPECTED HIS BODY FOR ANY INJURIES OR BROKEN BONES AND IT DOESN'T APPEAR TO BE ANY. TWICE I HEARD HIM YELP AND WHEN I WENT TO SEE WHAT WAS THE MATTER, I COULD NOT FIND A PROBLEM. I FEAR THAT SOMETHING IS IRRITATING HIM AND POSSIBLY...

Kitty lethargic a few days after neuter
Posted on 2008/02/03 by RuthOur kitty was neutered and given vaccinations a few days ago. The afternoon we brought him home, he seemed normal. He was eating, and very playful. The following day, he was less playful, and still seemed to eat okay. yesterday, he seemed lazy, but today was quite lethargic and did not eat much. He usually greets us at the door, but my husband searched and called for him for about 45 minutes before he woke up and came out to greet him. he isn't purring when petted either, which is very unusual for him. He is totally indoors, and was around no other animals. Today is sunday, and I will try to call the vets in a few hours to see if they have an emergency...

My female dog has recently lost her appetite. She is a 13 year old Llhasa Apso. She has never been fixed. I received her 4 years ago from a woman who wanted to "move on with her life" without the dog. Cookie is simply adorable and has been perfect for my household. She has always slept on my bed ( or sometimes my daughter's) but she started wetting the bed after losing her appetite. I had her to the vet and he said she had a urinary tract infection and gave her antibiotics. She went again last week and he said she is okay but she still isn't eating right. Also, I think she's drinking more, he didn't seem concerned. Any ideas?
