i HAVE A 1 YEAR OLD PITT MIX WHO IS PREGNANT. SHE IS CLOSE TO DELIVERY I NOTICED YESTERDAY THAT THE WHITES OF HER EYES ARE PINKISH RED WITH A LITTLE BIT OF MOISTNESS. THE DOGF HOUSE I RECENTLY BUILT HAS A SAND FLOOR I THOUGHT THAT MAYBE SHE GOT SAND IN HER EYES , WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Posted on 2008/12/22 by Usermy 7 year old cocker spaniel is looking very poorly. she was given and injectionin her neck on friday as she was holding up her left leg/paw and crying and scream,ing. we thought it was her leg but whe th evet held her head back she yelped. we were told to rest her for two days which we have done but then today she is limping around crying and can't seem to get comfortable anywhere. she is very pale looking and panting

Old Dog Black Lab lick & chews...
Posted on 2008/12/15 by UserOur black lab is 12 yrs, and has an ulcerated "licked lesion" on outside of his hind leg. This is his 3rd one in 5 years. He is having surgery to remove it this week. I asked my Vet to give him a local for the sake of our pocketbook=$$. I felt badly & and also didn't have the nerve to ask him if it's time to put our dog down. What do you think?

KBr Side Effects
Posted on 2008/12/11 by UserMY 4 1/2 year old shepard mix has seizures. We currently are giving her phenobarb and KBr. We started her on KBr back in July. For the last two months or so she has no been interested in eating and has even had bouts of vomiting? Could this be due to the KBr??? How likely is the chance that it could be due to KBr???

Cat has swollen spot
Posted on 2008/12/16 by Usermy cat has a swollen spot on his back just at the top of his tail and the top of his tail looks swollen, I touched the spot and it appears mushy like, he won't let me lift up the fur to see if there are any scratch or bite marks, he just keeps licking it down. there doesn't appear to be blood or a scab there from what I can see. He feels as if he is running a fever, and yelps when I pick him up or touch near the spot..even growled a couple times. Hes been very sluggish and not moving around alot. Is eating but not as much. Any idea what this could be? I am going to try to get him into the vet tomorrow, but just wondered what this could possible be.

boxer dog problem
Posted on 2008/12/16 by Userhi i hav a beautiful male boxer called george he is eatin ok etc but has small droplets of creamy yellow pus discharging frm his penis and the surrounding area looks a bit red too. he vomitted twice last wk not sure frm eatin too fast wit excitment etc but to b sure got droplets frm vets to treat worms ear mites etc.really worried please help
