my 10 year old Jack russell female has always been 13lbs. In the last 6 weeks, she has gained 3.5lbs! She gets the same amount of dog food daily and never any table scraps. Additionally, she gets a nice long hike every day. She has become lethargic and ravenously hungry even though she still gets the same 1 1/4 cup food daily. The dog has 2 bowel movements daily that appear fine. What has caused the rapid weight gain and lethergy?

We belive that our rat hasn't been eating due to the other rat in the cage. She's cold and not willing to eat what can we do?

Is it fleas or could it be dry skin?
Posted on 2009/03/02 by UserI have a 5 month old golden retriever and when he wakes up from sleeping he scratches and scratches and shakes his coat over and over for like a half hour. It can get quite annoying in the middle of the night. I have noticed him chewing his feet as well. Is this just dry skin or does he have fleas and what do i do?

My female hamsters private area is swollen. I'm worried but she seems fine other than that. She is eating and drinking well and is very very active, especially at night on her wheel.She also used to have an upper respitory infection and an eye infection that were related but that has gone away. Could she be PMSing or in heat? Whats wrong with her?
