hi..I dont know very well english but I try to explain my problem..my dog get over sterilization(spado)operation 3 day ago..during operation doctor saw that it has a problem on spleen and sayed that "we must take out your dogs spleen " I am so sorry.please explain to me that ...is there any vital importance?what do you think about this picture?what can I do? thank for your attantion

she got bit by another dog by her right ear.last night i noticed a smelly discharge coming out of the puncture wound.what can i do to help her?i cannot afford a vet.

My cats front leg is swollen and he has taking the hair away from a sore spot, he licked at it and it opened up and bloody puss came from it, most of the swelling is gone but its very red and like irriatated with scabs in like three different spots. Everytime he cleans his leg he removes the scabs and they start bleeding again, is there anything I can do to make it heal faster or can I give him penicillian capsule that where perscribed to me?

Posted on 2009/01/27 by WhitneyMy yorkie (named Boo) started acting strange last night and today he’s had diarrhea nonstop and just threw up (bright yellow). I tried giving him a “cookie” (his favorite dog treat) and he wouldn’t eat that. I’ve also tried to give him water and he didn’t drink. I have a full rx of metronidazole the vet gave me when we were traveling over the holidays. Boo sometimes gets sick from stress when he travels and since we were going to be done for 2 weeks I asked for something just in case. He did fine on the travel and we didn’t need it. Should I give him the metronidazole or should I take him to the vet to have his stool tested? Or should I wait until...

Vommiting foam and Bile on a regular basis
Posted on 2009/02/19 by UserMy 1 yr old multi-poo pup has been vommiting bile and foam at least once a day for the past few months. His stomache is very noisy as well. His bowel movements are always normal and he has no other symptoms....is he ok..? why does he gag and vomit everyday?

Thor the Lab Mix second question
Posted on 2008/12/14 by Jerisecond question. Thor 11y.o. Lab Mix, Male. had started urinating while he slept, before Thanksgiving. He was still going on walks, eating cooked meat, peanut butter, boiled eggs, since he stopped dog food altogether. Just found out yesterday, A friend's dog 4 y.o. female started doing the same thing. Anyway, Thor threw up, I took him to the Vet. The Vet didn't weight him, didn't check his heart, didn't listen to his intestines, just gave him a dose of worm medicine, that evening, Thor got up, started stumpling around and running into things. He isn't recovering very fast. His vision is back, but He doesn't want to get up, the only way he'll eat is when I'll feed...

Posted on 2009/02/19 by UserMy dog just recently starting acting tired, uninterested in his everyday activities. He isn't getting up to eat or drink on his own but will eat boiled chicken and drink water if I bring it to him. He is lying down all day and as of yesterday he hasn't gone to the bathroom. He salivates alot when drinking and seems to have a little trouble breathing or atleast it looks like it. A week ago he had a little cough but that has subsided. What could be wrong with him? He is 7 years old. He perks up when I get his leash out and will go out if on it but doesn't want to stay out.
