Graze on my dog's leg
Posted on 2008/12/02 by UserCan i use human antiseptic cream on my dog? She has a small graze on her leg and it isn't healing very quickly - I want to put something on it to help, but wasn't sure if the human cream would do it any good.

6 week pup not eating
Posted on 2008/12/02 by UserWe have one 6 week St. Bernard pup who didn't eat any of her food this morning. The other six puppies are eating well. A few have gassy, loose stools. Should we be concerned about this pup?

Thank you for comments on IMTP
Posted on 2008/12/02 by UserWe have a 6 yr old neutered male Maltese. His symptoms were red blotches around his body, dark diarrhea, blood in urine, loss of appetite and lethargic. Vet did blood tests and recommended we take him to specialist/hospital, so we admitted him immediately. He is currently on cortizone/prednizone? ... attempting to stop his immune system from attacking his own blood cells. We are waiting. I'm communicating to you "Thanks" for your comments to Zoe (9 yr old retreiver with Thrombocytopenia). Your comments are comforting during our difficult time.

I have a 7 year old lab/chow mix male dog. In 06 he had torn his left knee ligaments {Acl}. He had surgery and has been fine. On 11/26/08 he hurt the other leg. He is on Rimadyl 75mg twice a day and had X-rays done on 12/2/08. Our Vet said the x-rays looked good as in hips and arthritis. I asked how they know the Ligaments is totally torn and was told that when he was under anesthesia she could feel that it was. My questions are without surgery can he lead a normal as can be life and is there another pain drug that can be used? He has been on Glucosamine for the past few years and is still taking that?
