a week ago we got a 2 and 5 month mix bread dog from the pound. she is a little under weigth. she is a very loving. we think she has started to chew on her tail. she only does it when we are not home never infron of us. i believe that has to do anxiety. how can we help her. Vete recomend to cut the tail but we wanted to work on her anxiety first. what should we do?

Posted on 2008/11/29 by UserSalem is 6+/- long hair adopted cat. He quit eating about a week ago, hacked up a huge hairball, barfs on the floor almost daily. He has started eating soft food now, but has a naked patch at the base of his tail. Shedding a lot and lost weight. He never had any balance, falls on his side or back from window, chair, etc. Owner is 9 yr grandson. I got cats shots in Jan '07 don't think he got them for 08. Help, I'm not a cat person and not much money
