My black lab is 8 years old. Within the last month I have noticed 3 knots (all the size of golf balls) growing under the skin near his throat. Two are on his left side and one on his right. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened to him and I haven't changed anything in his diet. Any ideas of what it might be?

Canine hair loss
Posted on 2008/11/27 by UserI have a border collie/australian shepard. She is 9 years old and is very healthy and happy. Lately I have noticed that her fur has been dull and feels dry to the touch. She has had hot spots on her back, but have cleared up thanks to a topical natural ingedient foam that I applied. Now that the hot spots have cleared up, I have noticed substantial hair loss on her hind legs and tail. She is still itchy, but no new hot spots have appeared. I have her on Revolution, so fleas shouldn't be a problem. She is not losing hair in spots, it is all-over thinning and it is quite noticeable. I am a college student and have limited funds, so I am hoping that this problem...

hamster with rectal mystery
Posted on 2008/11/27 by Userwe just returned home to find our hamster pooping something odd. it apears to be slightly smaller than a pencils girth , very red. dont think its a female, as far as i could tell its a male, so im pretty sure its not having babies. stranger yet, it dosnt seem 2 be in pain. it alowed itself to be picked up, its running around, even went on its wheel 4 a while, with this thing poking out of its poor little rear. have you ever heard of anything like that?? what do u think this could be?? please reply. thank you.

My cat is about 16 years old. He is doing something odd now, he walks around in circles stops and stares at the floor. His appetite has changed and he has lost some weight. What I can't figure out is his walking in circles and staring.
