I had ask the question what to do for my dog with diarrhea? More information would probably help. Ella is a 17 month old Blood hound. She was in her kennel and when we came home had filled her kennel. You can tell she feels bad about she did. She seems fine, she has an appetite, played with the neighbor dog for an hour today. Ella does not get table food. She has had the diarreha for about 24 hours now. She does not have to go out as often today and the amount is less each time she goes. Should I feed her? Do I feed her regular dog food? Thank you for your help.

red eye in cats
Posted on 2009/02/10 by IrinaHello, my cat got sick. He was laying down all the time and his left eye was closed. We took him to the animal Hospital and doctor said he got infection. They checked his eye for scratches and didn’t find anything. Doctor gave us antibiotic pills and drops for the eye. In three days cat’s behavior improved. He opened his eye but it looked clouded at first and then we noticed red in his eye. On the follow up visit to the vet doctor told us that we need to go to the eye specialist and stop giving eye drops. The eye actually looks better and the redness becomes a small dot at the bottom. Can you tell what could be wrong ?

I washed my hands after I used it and then fed the dogs but realized a little later that my hands still smelled like the chemical. I barely got any on my hands to start with and like I said, I washed them immediatly. That was at least 5 hours ago and the dogs are acting fine. Would I know by now?

Posted on 2009/03/14 by UserI have an eleven year old Beagle that has had disc (spine) problems in past. Left dog overnite with someone and believed person "yanked" dog by collar while walking. When we picked him up he kept his head down and could not push open doors with snout without yelping in pain. We had some prednisone tabs and began treament as before.(About 1 year 6months since rear spine problem) . We are in the process of weening him off, 1/2 tab every OTHER day, and now he wakes up in the middle of the night yelping in pain and cannot use his left front leg, limps badly for about 5-10 minutes.We have to give him pain meds also to get him to sleep. Called local vet and he says...

Bad Dog Allergies
Posted on 2009/07/14 by jeffMy dog is 2 years old. She is a pit/lab mix. She used to be the most energetic dog until 6 months ago when noticible scratching for minutes occured. Today she has multiple scratch spots on ears, chest, stomach are is coat free her skin is visible. Her condition is very bad and vet has done biopsy which supposly showed nothing as well as skin scrapping. She has take many meds that i cannot name at the moment. I would love to post pics to show you her damaged coat but i cannot post due to their size. Somone please help me!!!! If you need the meds she has been on please email me back!!

BRITA PITCHER FILTER!!!!!??!?!?!

I am pretty sure he didn't ingest any or had very little about of whatever is in the filter (small black pepples). He is acting fine. Should I worry or is there anything i can do?

I have a mixed breed German Shepard and she has all of a sudden developed blood shot eyes, both of them. And seems to be having a problem seeing. She is only 3 yrs old, but I was doing some reading online and read about Glacoma could this be happening to her? Or could it just be an infections, she is nursing right now so not sure if we should take her in. Thanks
