Thank you, Dr. Falucho. I should've mentioned that they did do x-rays to rule out 'heart desease'. Would heartworms also show up?

Dog going blind?
Posted on 2009/02/04 by UserMy 11 year old Pomeranian has recently developed whiteish rings on his pupils and has trouble with his balance walking/going up and down stairs. I was wondering if this could be an eye problem or something else.

My dog has done nothing but lay around for 3 days. He will drink water if I bring it to him but willnot get up. His appetite has decreased also....could this be because of worms or parvo? How can I tell? What do I do?

dog whiskers
Posted on 2008/12/26 by UserI have a 6yr old American bulldog who has always had a few thick stumpy whiskers along with normal sized ones. Recently they have either fell out or he has scratched his face and they were pulled out. The spots where the whiskers were have bleed and scabbed over. Should I clean them or just let them be? Should I be worried about this or is this just something that happens? There is two spots one one side of his face and one on the other.

Mistake? Shoulder Perching!
Posted on 2008/12/28 by UserI just got a Green Cheek Conure about a week ago, his name is Mclovin. I wanted to have him perch on my shoulder and he learned to very quickly. Then the problems arose, he bites my glasses, my neck and is now ignoring my requests to step up. I should have read all about it before I did it!! Is there a way to reteach him, or should I just work on his manners when he is? How?
