    what should I do when my senior dog (14 1/2 y.o. maltese) is super fussy at mealtime? i've tried adding baby food, chicken, hamburg, rice, etc... she never refuses a treat but meals are another story.

    My dog is 13 years old, about 50 lbs. She has always had very good health and still remains very healthy. About two years ago, she tore her right-hind cruciate ligament and had surgery to repair it. After the surgery, we were told that she will probably end up tearing the other one as well. We were very careful, but unfortunately, she tore her left one yesterday. We took her immediately to the vet and had xrays and blood tests done. They confirmed and said that her blood work came back within normal ranges. As much as we love her and want to keep her, we are worrying if we can put her through the surgery again.   • cat breath/sneezing

    my cat has bad breath and has had it for the last 10yrs but recently it has gotten really bad smells like rotten food. he is fine otherwise but does sneeze some white discharge every couple days and has wheezing fits 1-2x per day...any help would be appreciated..

  • i awoke this morning to find that my 14 year old shep/lab mix had thrown up a couple times in the night as well pooped. also she is walking like her legs don`t work right and her head is angled off to one side. any thoughts, she don`t seem to be in pain. also not eating. we have 2 other larger dogs in house(labs).
