My mom's kitten was just diagnosed with TUO (temperature of unknown origin) yesterday. She was given a shot and antibiotics. Last night she seemed to be up and around more and played a little. Today she is sleeping all morning again and not doing anything. She is eating, drinking and using the litter box. Should she take her to another vet to get another opinion? She is 13 weeks old.

My cat has gotten surgery recently and had to wear little "casts" on his hind legs. We took them off yesterday and realized one was swollen, the fur was falling off, and he couldn't step on it. What could be wrong? Please help.

My dog's leg muscle torn?
Posted on 2008/10/29 by Usermy dog hurt his hind leg about 2 months ago. the vet said it might be a torn ligament and to see how he was before getting surgery. he began walking and running on his leg. the vet said he was find but i still think he doesn't step on it all together yet. he doesn't limp or anything but when he goes to get up he uses his other leg or when he stand it seems like he doesn't put a lot of pressure on it. do you think it is torn? thank you for your help?

Posted on 2008/10/30 by LorraineMy puppy is 9 weeks old just to her to vet again today for routine check up and vacc due, they noticed a little fever and brought it down then she was fine, we told the vet she did not want to eat this morning but they gave her dog biscuits and she was eating them just fine they gave her a shot DHLPPCV 2nd does and told us to monitor since it can cause some fever, since shes been home she has thrown up a white liquid in the past 12 hours, but we give her water and she drinks it fine, what could this be?

Fur loss on chipmunk
Posted on 2008/11/06 by UserHI, I have 2 chipmunks as pets. One of them has been experiencing fur-loss for the past 2-3 months and now and recently seems to be getting worse. She has been lethargic and only seems to come out of her box to use the toilet and to drink and eat. We have considered parasites, but eliminated it due to the other chipmunk not experiencing any symptoms. It was also suggested to me that it could be stress, as the other chipmunk can be quite dominant at food times in particular. We separated the cages but the chipmunk experiencing fur-loss appeared further distressed, not going to sleep in the new box (they normally share) and wanting to get out of her cage into the....

Help - Kerosene or lamp oil on my cat
Posted on 2008/11/11 by CHow do you get kerosene/lamp oil out of cat fur? My cat came home yesterday soaked in some sort of kerosene or lamp oil. He seems to be in shock. I bathed him twice trying to get it out of his fur once with shampoo and once with dish soap.
