I have an 8yo pomeranian who is overweight. The only exercise she gets is a daily game of indoor fetch. I'd like to take her for walks, but whenever I do she develops a limp that lasts for at least a couple hours. Her diet consists of dog food (we free-feed), egg yolks, and several dog treats daily. Given these facts, what's the best way to get her weight problem under control--diet or exercise? Thanks!

Is diet or exercise better to help my dog lose weight?

I have 4 dogs. One 3 days ago has came down with Parvo, we took her to the vet, and have to give her up. Now Tutu seems to have similar symtoms, she vomitted last night. IS there any home treatments, since we really want to keep all the dogs right now and save it from the disease. To let them stay in the hospital is unaffordable to us. Can we purchase tamiflu or other antinausiate med thru the vet. Please advise. thank you.
