my dog is suffering from skin allergies. She has lost alot of hair and is now shivering. This has been going on for two days. She seems depressed but is still eating and drinking. Also her stools are solid and she is urinating. Not sure what is wrong with her.

Morning Sickness??
Posted on 2008/10/21 by stephanieI dont have the money right now to see my vet and im worried there might be something wrong with my dog. hes about 2 years old and for about a month now hes been throwing up in the mornings. not every single morning but just about so anyway now recently he has thrown up twice during the day (not in the same day) and continues to throw up in the morning. At first i thought it was just like the upsetting of his stomache from no food in the morning until i get up but i tried to feed him a little bit before i went to bed last night around 12 and he threw it back up at about 530 so now im stuck. he acts normal any other time. he just throws up early in the morning and once or...

My kitty has trouble swallowing
Posted on 2008/10/22 by KatMy cat, who is 4 years old, recently has had trouble swallowing. Its more of a "gulp" sounding. She has slightly red-rimmed eyes and her meow is weak. She continues to eat regularly and has no trouble visiting the bathroom. She is her usual self most of the tyme, but I am concerned for her. I find that it happens more when I'm petting her and she's purring, that she has trouble swallowing. She has not been sneezing or coughing, only when it seems like a "hack", then its bad.(Ive been told it could be a huge hairball that is stuck) I have heard a low whine or moan coming from her stomach area and sometymes her breathing is "wheezy".

vomiting dog
Posted on 2008/10/22 by Usermy 13 1/2 year old Maltese (neutered male) has been experieincing bouts of vomiting (bile and/or waterly liquid most recently--previously all bile and frothy). All test performed by my vet have not indicated anything in particular to be the cause---he has lost weight and is lethargic--we have treated him with antibiotics, metoclopramide, metronidizole, special bland diets--none with lasting effects. His fur also seems thinner and lackluster.....his sad look is hard to take. He has had 2 oral surgeries in the past 6 months and i feel like he has been through enough...what do I do now?
