Severe laceration on my GErman shepherd's...
Posted on 2008/12/17 by AmandaMy German Shepherd has a large laceration on her right shoulder. Our vet is not available, neither is any vet we can get to tonight. What can we do to make her comfortable until we can get her to a vet. The wound is about 5 inches long, and about 3 inches wide. There is some loose skin. I do not know how she got the wound.

What is wrong with Merlin? 10+ year old male Persian long hair (black w/white) is drinking and urinating more frequently in his liter box. Also there is evidence of blood on edge of liter box and on wall and nearby areas. This is my son's cat and he feeds him Science Diet for older cats. Any other dry food causes runny BM.

Hello. My family just adopted a dog yesterday. Before it arrived, we've seen pictures and videos of this happy playful dog. Now, it is just laying around and vomiting and refusing to eat and is very weak. It was given a drug called Albon to reduce the risk of stress induced Coccidia. I looked up Coccidia online and was wondering how severe this disease is and what are the chances of the dog living or dieing?

Posted on 2008/12/19 by UserOur 5 yr.old cocker spaniel is a perfect dog except for one thing....she tries to "hump" every dog she comes in contact with...even large dogs, like labs. I've been told that this is a dominating thing, but how do we handle it? Thanks, Pat

Posted on 2008/12/20 by UserMy male cat is neutered. I thought he had worms as he was licking his backside but on closer inspection (!) he appears to be licking his penis. It looks quite red but I'm not sure if that's normal.
