  • I have a 1 year old, 3.2 pound Chihuahua named Zoe who was diagnosed with Liver Disease about 4 months ago. We are still in the process of trying to find out what type of Liver Disease she has and where it came from!Toxicity has been ruled out! At the moment she is eating Canidae All Life Stages Dry and Wet Food, which has been approved by the vet, she is seeing now! She was seeing a different vet, but I was having some problems with her, so I changed vets. She's doing well considering how sick she is and is very active, eating and drinking fine. I wanted to add a little more variety to her diet, but I know that a dog with Liver Disease, is very limited on the types of...

  • Kitten Limping

Hi,my mom just got a 12 week old kitten 5 days ago. The kitten started limping this morning after my dad heard a loud "thud" in the living room and a large book on the floor. It's her right front paw and she keeps holding it up. She does walk on it if she has to but she limps. She isn't running around like normal. She is eating and using the litter box. Should she get to a vet soon or wait to see if she improves? Thank You!

  • I have a 7 1/2 year old Lhasa Apso and Tuesday he was attacked by another dog outside our home. He doesn't have any bites or anything like that, but somehow the other dog managed to mess up his right eye. Last night it looked like it was still bleeding, swollen, and just really awful and it still looks that way today, minus the bleeding. It looks like there's puss or something like that in the crease of his eye. I know he can't see out of that eye because he ran into a door that was opened on that side. He's usually hyper and can't sit still long enough to even look at, but now he's just creeping around really slowly and just doesn't seem right. I'm not sure if...

  • Pet been hit by a kid

Hello Doctor! I have a kitten, its I think 1 year old. Yesterday it was playing outside when a devil kid of my neighbour just struck the kitten on its head with a rod. A pool of blood just poured out of its mouth. Now the situation is that it will just go round and round without stopping. Its shievering and even its eye pupils are not in the centre anymore. Please suggest what I can do to save the poor thing. I cannot see it in that condition. Hope to hear from you soon.

  • My 15 year old cat has been acting strange the past few days. She came over to me twice now covered in vomit and she has not eaten her food as much as she usually does. She is obese and this is very abnormal behavior for her. I also noticed her face has started to swell and droop on one side and she has these little brown dots on the swollen spot. This all happened in a matter of 3 days. What is going on with my cat? I am very worried. I think I should also add she has bad teeth but my vet advised me against putting her under anesthetic as she is a large cat.
