Help my domestic rabbit is becoming feral! What can I do to return her back to a happy social state?
My Bunny is less than a year old and was purchased at a local pet shop. She was so very sweet and friendly when we first brought her home. The screened in back porch at our house it literally a bunny paradise; she has fresh hay, chew toys, water, feed, bunny safe plants, treats, boxes and baskets to hide in and lots of rabbit toys. She gets pretty athletic out there but we bring her indoors when the weather is too cold. I have a few guesses to why she might be going feral/aggressive. 1.) I don't have as much time to socialize/pet her as I used to since I have a very active toddler to watch now 2.) She does not have a cage mate or fellow rabbit to romp with 3.) Could she be coming of age or in heat? She is fixed, but might she still have an instinct regardless?
Any ideas or advice would be very helpful right now. She's that extra special joy to my day watching her explore as I sip my coffee every morning. Don't want her to be so stressed out or unhappy. Please help my fuzzy little bun-bun.
Much thanks,
