my 5 year old min pin just ate about 10 pcs of chocolate (valentine candy) - is there anything we can give her to keep her from getting sick or do we need to take her to a vet?

    Hi there.

It really depends on if it was plain or dark chocolate, dark chocolate is more of a riska s it contains a higher amount of toxin, also what size pieces were they?

I would keep an eye on her, and offer water, she may get an upset tummy or  vomit,  obviously the chocolate would have been digested by now. it may be worth starving her for 24 hours and then re introducing bland for like chicken or rice. If she continues to show signs of feeling unwell or vomiting then i would take her to the vets for a good check up.

Thank you for the information. She appears to be fine and shows no signs of being sick. We'll keep a close eye on her for the next couple of days.
