My 4year old male cat has been sick now for 2 days and seems to be getting worse. Our local vets are not in until tomorrow. He vomited on Sunday once and once on Monday, he is very lethargic today, won't eat but will drink and wants to lay in my arms and lets me rub his belly which is abnormal for him, he is usually very very active and playful. He does go outside daily and has been now for about 2-3 months. Plese help

has his urine an faeces been normal? try taking his food away for 24 hours and offer only water so he doesn't become dehydrated. start feeding again little and often with a bland food such as chicken and rice or white fish. obviously it is difficult to tell if hes eaten anything that he shouldn't as he goes outside but make sure none of his toys are broken or he hasn't eaten any of your house plants. if he is sick immediately after eating it is likely that he has eaten something that has got blocked or if its partially or digested food that he is vomiting it will probably just be a sickness bug. important thing is to keep he hydrated til you can get him to a vets for an examination. good luck.
