Abnormal bowel movement

After vomiting her breakfast, my dog had mucousy stool with small remnants of bright red blood.What should I do?

Symptoms: Vomiting, Diarrhea

    Hi there. If Tequila is reasonably bright and happy otherwise, I would starve her for 12-24 hours, then start feeding small amounts of a bland food (chicken/rice). If there is no vomitting/diarrhoea after a couple of days, she can be gradually changed onto her normal diet.  I would also make sure she is wormed with a good wormer.  If she continues to have blood in her faeces over the next day or so or if she gets worse, i would reccomend a vet visit.
