MY 1/2 COCKER SPANIAL 1/2 JACK RUSSEL ALL OF THE SUDDEN GOT THE RUNS AND DOSENT SEEM TO WANT TO STAND ON HIS BACK LEGS?HE WAS VERY ACTIVE JUST YESTERDAY,RUNNING AROUND OUT SIDE IN HIS VERY LARGE FENCED IN BACK YARD.
HE IS ONLY EXPOSED TO OUR CAT..PLEASE HELP ..
I WANT TO TAKE HIM TO VET BUT I DONT KNOW IF ITS JUST SOMETHING HE ATE?PLEASE ADVISE...ROB.....

Hello there, is he able to move his back legs at all? And if you gently prop him up on his back legs does he then take his weight and start walking? If he seems unable to use his legs, this could be a problem and I would advise a vet visit asap. Also, if he is abel to walk but i stumbling, he should be examined by a vet. If he is walking ok and fairly bright but has diarrhoea, you could feed him a bland diet only (chicken/rice) for a couple of days, then gradually switch him over to normal food if the diarrhoea has stopped. However if it hasn't or if it gets worse, i'd advise a vet visit. Hope that helps!

YES HE IS ABLE TO GET UP WITH MY HELP,AND WALK AROUND FINE,BUT YOU CAN TELL HE IS NOT FEELING WELL.BUT HE DOES GET SOMEWHAT CHIPPER ONCE I HAVE HELPED HIM UP HE WILL FOLLOW ME AROND...THANK YOU SO MUCH,MY SON HAS GOTTEN REAL ATTACHED TO MAXX. WE WILL WATCH HIM CLOSLEY ...GOD BLESS ......
