about a year after i got my cat i notice a small brown spot in her left eye. over the years it has spread its now almost 90% covered her eye.it is only on the color part of her eye not the black part. it doesnt seem to bother her but it bothers me...i've asked vets in my area and they dont seem to know what it is without running a lot of expensive tests that i cant afford right now. i was wondering if this is something i need to worry about or is this something that happens naturally to cats. im just worried that it might be something harmful to her. do you happen to know what this is and what might cause this? thank you...i attached this picture you can kind of see the spot in her left eye in the corner near her nose. this picture was a couple years old so its not as bad as it is now.

it is difficult to tell without tests as there could be many reasons, however it may be iris melanoma (ocular tumour), or haemorrhage (unlikely) or normal pigment change. you should seek veterinary advice for ocular ultrasound/ investigation.
