i have just noticed a raised red spot about the size of my small finger nail just behind her frint leg and i wondered if it was anything serious

is her flea/mite prevention up to date? could be a flea/mite bite or sting. bathe with warm salty water and contact your veterinary surgeon if it gets worse, or doesn't disappear within 48 hours.
