Lex swallows excedrin

I was taking out some exedrin pills to take for a headache, i dropped one and he swallowed it before I could take it away from him, he is 6.5 lbs. 4 mths old.

    Hi there,

    As he is so small and the tablet is quite a large dose i would take him to your vets. Hopefully there will be no problems. Ideally it would have been best to make him sick straight away, either with salt water, soap crystals or mustard water but i expect the tablet has been absorbed already.

    The vets may keep him in for observation and may take a blood test after afew days to make sure there is no liver or Kidney damage.

    Might be best to even give the vet a ring and discuss it with him and see what he/she says.
