My french bulldog

I have a 15 month old french bulldog, he seems very breathless, tired and tummy slightly swollen. He recently had an eye ulser - and that is been treated at the Willows - eye specialists. He has been having pain killers and eye drops, but yesterday took him to vets who prescribed anti-biotics. My concern is that :- he's breathless, very tired and not pooed which is worrying as he is regular as clockwork.
What can i do over and above giving him anti-biotics?????

  If you think he might be constipated then you can try syringe feeding him 10mls of lactulose. He might not be defaecateing because he hasn't eaten if that's the case, which is to be expected. Did he have a fever when his rectal temperature was measured?
