Sick puppy

Rating: 9

My husband and I just adopted a dog. We have been told she is an Australian Shepard/ Jack Russell terrier mix. We brought her home yesterday. She is still very hyper, but I've noticed she has some crusting on her nose, when she breathes she blows bubbles with the snoot, she also wheezes when she breaths. What would be wrong? Should I take her to a vet?

Symptoms: Breathing

Hi there, I would take her to the vet - it sounds like she has an upper respiratory infection, which would need a course of antibiotics to clear up.  I would get her in soon, as I have seen some of these become more serious to the point where they became pneumonia.  Good luck!
