Hi there, If your kitten is sounding congested, it is most probably cat flu. Most cats and kittens suffering from a bout of cat flu will also lose their appetite. Has your kitten been vaccinated agianst this? Cat flu, caused normally by Feline Herpes Virus, is rarely fatal but can cause severe illness in susceptable cats and kittens. It is normally characterized by sneezing. It is highly likely that your kitten has a respiratory infection and needs a course of antibiotics to get over it. Since these are prescription only, you will need to visit a veterinarian to obtain them. Good luck
