Last night I was petting my rabbit and I've noticed a large lump on his jaw, right under his R eye. He is eating fine, I can touch it and he doesnt seem bothered.
I can add he seems to be obsessed the last week with chewing the carpet, no matter that as soon as he does he's sent back into his cage for the rest of his day. When we let him back out he heads straight for it again.(yes, he is an indoor rabbit).
What could cause this lump and should he be brought immediately to the vet or is there something I can look into myself? I look foward to your answer. thank you

CharlieSymptoms: lumps and swellings -
Veteran Advisor Angela Spar says:
teeth problems in rabbits can be a huge issue and can often show as a big swelling on their cheeck below the eye and will eventually rupture as an abscess. I suggest that you take him to see your vet for an exam, he will likely need antibiotics and may even need dental work. Make sure you take him to someone experienced in rabbits
Good luck
