my 16 yrs old cat has messey poo took her to the vet but nothing works to get rid of it vet wants to do more test but what esle could be wrong with her

Hi
This could be an infectious cause like Giardia or bacterial overgrowth, or it could be related to inflammatory bowel disease. I'm afraid you won't find out without further tests, but try her on a chicken and rice diet to see whether that helps.
