My chihuahua puppy had long white worms in his stool on Thursday, so I took him to the doctor. He still hase them in his stool, dead & alive, when should it clear up? And should I take him back if it still occurs?

Hello there. I assume when you took him to the vet, he was given some worming medication? If so this could take a couple of days to work and sometimes if a puppy has a lot of worms, I reccomend repeating the worming tablets/paste 2-3 days later, then continue as instructed on the box (usually every 3 months). Also, please be sure to clean up his faeces both inside and outside as soon as you can to avoid re-infection, and also clean his back end with warm water regularily for the same reason. Some of these worms are contagious to humans so I reccommend you wear gloves while handling faeces and practice good hygeine. Puppy wormers are available at discount prices here
