Penis is sticking out

for two days the tip of my 10 month old chihauhau's pinis sticks out and wont go back in, he;s peeing as normal but it just wont retrack all the way back in.

    This could be due to several things: congenital abnormalities (unlikely due to Cookie's age), or even just having the hair on the prepuce prevent the tip of his penis from retracting. Your vet should be able to tell pretty easily if it will retract with a bit of lubrication, so I would recommend you take him in for a visit. If you leave it for too long, the circulation to the tip of his penis could get compromised, and you could end up with it becoming a serious problem.
